This prebiotic reinforces the beneficial effects of MegaSporeBiotic and other probiotics to promote a strong and diverse microbiome. Prebiotics are complex dietary fibers that feed the bacteria living in the gut microbiome. Most prebiotics on the market are NOT selective and can also feed undesirable microorganisms you’d rather not support. MegaPre™ was explicitly designed to support the keystone bacterial strains without feeding the imbalanced microbial-producing microflora in the gut.*
A healthy gut microbiome is multi-faceted and relies heavily upon 3 key aspects of gut health, including the microbial population, physical structures, and immune function. For this reason, supplements and therapies that only address one facet of gut health are often ineffective. The Gut Maintenance Protocol (GMP) protocol was uniquely designed to target all three of these areas to help achieve and maintain long term gut health.
MegaPre contains clinically-tested oligosaccharides and kiwifruit powder. Oligosaccharides are non-digestible medium-chain carbohydrates that selectively feed bacterial species that produce valuable short-chain fatty acid (SCFAs) metabolites, including butyrate. SCFAs support many diverse physiological functions necessary for optimal health and well-being.*
MegaPre’s oligosaccharides can increase microbial diversity and selectively feed beneficial bacteria, including Akkermansia muciniphila, Faecalibacterium prausnitzii, and Bifidobacteria species. These keystone species are vital for supporting a healthy metabolism, body composition, immune function, and intestinal barrier function.*
Use
Ages 3+: Start with 3 capsules daily with or without a meal for one week, then increase to 6 capsules daily with or without a meal as tolerated, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Capsule may be opened and contents sprinkled onto food or drink to individualize your dosage.
Children under 3 years of age: Please consult with your healthcare practitioner.

Precautions
Contains milk. One or more ingredients are derived from lactose from bovine milk. Exercise caution if you have lactose intolerance or diary sensitivities.
Contains corn derived ingredients.
Note: Most people tolerate this product well. But if you are especially sensitive to supplements or diet changes, then starting more slowly than usual may be helpful. If adverse symptoms occur, then reduce usage amount or stop taking the product until symptoms clear, then start again slowly, as tolerated.

Does MegaPre require refrigeration or shipping with cold packs?
No. this product is naturally heat resistant. Hot temperatures during shipping will not affect this product.

Can I use MegaPre™ along with MegaSporeBiotic, RestorFlora, HU58 and Mega IgG2000 all together at the same time?
Yes. In fact, adding MegaPre™ to your daily probiotic regimen is a great way to improve the benefits of your probiotics.
Should I take MegaSporeBiotic before I use MegaPre?
Yes. It’s generally recommended to use MegaSporeBiotic for at least one month prior to adding MegaPre.
Is Mega MegaPre OK to take with other supplements or medications?
Yes. MegaPre™ can be taken at the same time as supplements or medications that can be taken with food. The oligosaccharide fiber ingredients inside MegaPre™ are natural components found in various foods that should generally be well tolerated with minimal risk of contraindications. If you have concerns about mixing specific supplements or drugs, consult with a holistic or natural doctor.
Is the MegaPre product safe during pregnancy and while nursing?
The effects of taking MegaPre™ during pregnancy or while nursing have not been studied specifically. If you have questions about using a specific supplement during pregnancy or while nursing, please talk with a healthcare professional who is familiar with your particular needs.
Is Mega MegaPre safe for children?
